2002 Banding
Banding was done Wednesday, June 12 at 11am.

The adults floated overhead in the strong breeze as our volunteer climber prepared to descend to the nest ledge.

One parent stood defiantly on the far end of the ledge, screeching at the climber as he retrieved the chicks.

The chicks were brought into a suite in the Sheraton where they could be weighed and banded in comfort.

The second chick, "McQuesten" is removed from the special box used to transport the chicks from the ledge to the banding.

The third chick, the female, "Beasley", has her leg size measured before banding.
